Ieva had her first experience with the media in the late nineties, when she worked as a freelance writer for several of the leading daily newspapers and lifestyle magazines. She began working in the public relations field when she served as press secretary and editor of a local informative publication for the Mārupe municipal government.

Ieva joined the P.R.A.E. Public Relations team in 2004. Since that time she has helped plan and actualize campaigns for local and international companies as well as for state and European Union institutions, including the Latvian Ministry of Education and Science, the Latvian Culture Ministry, and several European Commission general directorates.

Ieva’s practical experience has been enhanced by the theoretical knowledge she obtained at the University of Latvia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications, and at the Riga Business School, where she earned a master’s degree in business management. Her master’s thesis was devoted to the development of goods and services by involving the end consumer in the production process via social media and other instruments.
